The
IEEE RS Taipei/Tainan
chapter was recently
announced
as recipient of two awards:
The Outstanding
Chapter Award is bestowed upon the best chapter of the 33 chapters in Taipei
Section. On the other hand, the Outstanding Membership Development Award is
to recognize our contributions in two categories: the largest total number
increase and the highest percentage increase in membership promotion. This
is a great encouragement to our chapter because we are a very young chapter,
and is smaller in size compared with some older and larger chapters.
The award ceremony
will be held in the IEEE Taipei Section annual meeting on Dec. 16. Dr.
Shiuhpyng Shieh will be giving a talk at this event.
